3-HOUR MINI-COURSE | WE COME TO YOU! In this interactive 3-hour course, the head farmer will guide students through the basics of growing fresh foods in a hydroponic set-up in any environment. With this knowledge, participants will be better equipped to grow produce right in their home or classroom. Best of all, they'll get a hands-on experience and have the opportunity to apply their newly gained green thumb skills. PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN - the various methods for growing from seed or seedling and the best systems for your needs - the process from seeding to harvest - choosing seeds and recycling seeds - how to identify pests and disease and some natural ways to manage them - nutrient and fertilizer requirements - the different substrates (pebbles, rockwool, coco coir, etc.) - grow lights and how the color impacts flavor - how to get the water just right - and of course, all about crops: The best crops and the “real” limitations of hydroponics THIS IS AN INTERACTIVE, HANDS-ON COURSE FOR 10 - 25 PARTICIPANTS. Cancellation Policy
If you have already registered for one of our hydroponic workshops, and are no longer able to attend the training, our cancellation policy is as follows: • Full refund minus a $50 admin fee up to 30 days out of your scheduled training • 50% refund after that up to two weeks out from the scheduled date • No refund within two weeks of the training date • An exception will be made for an unexpected illness or emergency and a refund of 50% or a credit to reschedule a workshop can be issued.
